Sticky boy!!!!

Good afternoon everyone, did you all have a nice Christmas?  I did.  My children were all around except for my next to the oldest son who lives in Chicago with his lovely wife and they could not make it home, so we did get to Skype with them, so that was nice.

Well today I wanted to pop in and share a couple of cards and the story behind it.   As some of you know I am a Close to My Heart independent consultant, and the company has annul conventions, and they are usually in California or Florida, both of which I am unable to travel to :(  For one, I am afraid to fly, and 2 I have a disabled husband who I am not comfortable leaving for too long.  Well anyways...at the conventions there is a stamp that is MUCH sought after...called Sticky boy, you can only get it at convention, they are hidden all over the center and the consultants are always on the lookout. They do not sell them, they auction them of with proceeds going to Operation Smile. and a small set goes for like $1500.00..crazy, but great cause.

My Upline, received 2 of them in the mail, in honor of Sticky boys 10 year birthday and was told to give one to the consultant who she feels "embodies the CTMH spirit of Community and spirit.  She has a couple hundred consultants under her and guess who got it??? ME!!!!  so today I wante to post a couple cards I made with it using Close to My heart Products..

First I made a card using the burlap ribbon, I LOVE it.  I also embellished it with the chipboard feather and the adorable pockes and the adorable button that comes with the set.

I then used some of the extra pattern paper to make a gift envelope, and added a tag from the set. Love the flowers.

There were also chipboard flowers..

On the inside of the card I added the flower sticker in the corner to dress it up.

Here are some of the products i used which can be found at the Cuttin'& Stampin' Scrappy Supply store

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 80

Heelo fellow crafters and thanks for checking in, today I am posting for AHSC for the challenge 80.  When I looked at it, i was thinking the outer edge of the card is embossed possibly, so that is what I did.....

I used this dark burgundy paper I found in my stash for a dramatic effect, and then I found some papers from CTMH..Colonial white, Huntington and Olive. The ribbon was a loose piece I had in my ribbon bag and went perfectly with the fall theme,  I also used 2 stamp sets from CTMH.....

I used Saddle for the ink as well as Olive.
for a finishing touch I added mini green rhinestones.  I hope you like what I came up with, I was pleased,  Now it is your turn to give it a try:)   Head here and post your project and check out what the other DT members have to share.

You can also take a look at my website..there are plenty of new products to help you create and craft...

Happy Crafting!!
