3 cards to share

Hello everyone!! I can not believe it, I had time today to make 3 cards..
welllll, to be honest, I cheated.  I went through all my scraps and extra cuts I had on hand from previous card classes, so it did not take as long as it usually would.(hehehe)
The first card I made using the new Close to My heart paper, Lollydoodle.  I just love it!!!, but I also came across some papers from the CTMH Dotty for you, and as you can see, they coordinate nicely.  CTMH papers and inks work so good together.  You do not have to go out and buy tons and tons of different ink colors everytime a new catty comes out. isn;t that awesome.  You can spend your money on the awesome paper packs and Workshops.  The stamp set used was,  CTMH's "It's your day"

The second card I made with scraps as well.  The stamp set is CTMH's "You are my happy"  The above card and below each have the gorgeous Teal Shimmer trim from CTMH.  Love love love it!!  Coming out in February.

Card #3 was some scraps from a previous card class, Papers from DCWV.

I am looking for a few sweet ladies to join my team..wouldn't you like to get your supplies @ 22% off and make that on your customer sales???  The kit below is $99.  Message me if you are interested and have questions, or head to my website HERE and sign up!!

Thanks for stopping by, come back again!!

Close To My Heart frames

Close To My Heart

Hello everyone, how is everyone tonight??  I have to tell you, I have had enough winter, I am soooo ready for spring, flowers, the smell of a fresh cut lawn... Oh well, only a couple more months to go.

In the mean time, lets talk Close To My Heart.  I recently purchased a couple of the Bracket frames (Z1797) that CTMH sells.  I stared at them off and on for a couple weeks, trying to figure what I would do with them.  Well as it so happens I had a babyshower coming up and thought I could maybe come up with a gift idea for it.. well once I got started. I was onfire and could not stop til it was done.  With  the use of my cricut, Artiste (z1790) and Art Philosophy(Z1686) cartridges, Babycakes(x7173b)  I also used the Special Care stamp set.

To hold the banner I sued the CTMH clothes Pin Minis (z1815) and some twine (z1751) the harvest assortment.  The inks used were the Chocolate and autimn terracotta.

So, this is what I did with one of them.  Super fun.  If you would like to try one of these your self, head over to my website here
and pick one up for yourself.  For as little as $8.95 you can have one too.  While you are there, take a look around, check out the "while supplies last" and if you spend $50.00 (before tax and shipping,) you will be eligible for the Stamp of the month, a size D stamp set valued at $17.95 for only $5.00.

thanks for stopping by. Oh and  by the way...February 1st the Spring and Summer Idea book goes LIVE!!!

 Tata for now :)

Easel card with a drawer????

Good evening everyone, boy have I been on a roll making cards and frames and sooo much more, been having a great time....I think it is because I lost m the use of my laptop for a week and it gave me more time to craft.lol  Any how, the project I want to show you tonight is a card that is a little drawer with an Easel card on top.

for products use..a mod podge of a lot of companies. scraps mostly. Close To My Heart stamp set which came with the Art Philosophy cartridge..inks, and bling.

Now for some instruction..
Cut a 6x6 piece of solid color card stock
Score at 1 inch all the way around
Cut one of the score lines on each side so you will have flaps to fold in and glue to form bottom 1/2 of box.
From patterend paper ( I used 2 patterend paper, 12x12double sided to make mine so I could have a lot of patterns) cut 8 pieces measuring 4 by 3/4 inches and 2 pieces at 4x4. these are all used to decorate the box drawer, inside and out. (you could omit the outside if you wanted.

Then cut the handle 4 by 1/2 and then score in on each end at 1/2.  You will then measure in one inch from each side of the drawer, and make a pencil dot evenly across from each other, and then I used the crop a dile and punched little holes where the brads will go in with handle.  on the handle itself, punch holes in the little 1/2 in section on each end of the handle , insert brads and adhere your handle.
For the band that goes around the drawer, cut solid pirce of card stock at 4 1/2 by 11 and score at 1 1/4, 5 1/4, 6 3/8 and 10 1/2.
Fold and form band, glue end pieces.  cut 2 pieces of patterend paper at 4 by 3/4 inches and adhere to side of wrap around. Now place drawer in holder.
Lets make the easel card now... Cut 4 1/4 by 8 1/4 inch CS and score at 4 1/2 and 6 1/4.  Then cut a mat  4  by 4 and then 3 3/4 by 3 3/4 for the main card and for the bottom of the card, you can do as you like, but I mad several mats cut at different decending increments  and layerd and added sentiment, raised with pop dot to keep the card standing up :)  Below is a side view. hope you enjoyed it, if you have any questions. let me know.

If there is anything I can help you with for Close To My Heart..let me know as well..the new Idea book is going live very very soon!!!
