Good morning friends.  Been a real busy Holiday this year.  Have not had much creating time.  But this week I was able to create a quick card usinf Tim Holtz distressing inks.  I was at a good friends home and she had a similar picture in a frame on a shelf, as the one above.  I tild her it would be pretty I thought as a card, and so the next day, i pulled out my inks, as well as my heat embossing gun and MS embossing powder and Versamark ink and SU tree stamps and made the card above.   I am anxious to see what she thinks of the likeness:)))

I know I have not posted here for some time, I have been real busy babysitting and crafting, and finishing up special orders.  I have missed you all.  After Christmas, I will have a lot of craft projects and Christmas gifts moved out of my room (where I craft) and on to their forever homes, and then look out. going to be a crafting Mainiac.lol

But before the Holidays come and go, I want to wish you ALL a ver Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

"Cuttin' and Stampin' DT Call 2014"

Oh boy!!! I just saw that Cuttin' and Stampin' is having a DT call.  There are a few different positions they are looking to fill. I have not tried out for a DT in a while and thought I would give it a try..

  First of all I am going to give a little Bio of me..I am a wife  of 33 years and mother of 4 grown sons.  I also have 2 grand daughters and a grand son that I love very much.  I have always love crafting in one way or another , but the craft I am truly in love with is paper crafting.  I started 2 and 1/2 years ago and I am so addicted to it.
I was on a couple of design teams...Kinderstampo, My Cricut Craft Room and Jen's Digi Stamps.

My favorite type of paper crafting is cards, gift boxes, tags and minis.  I like to try any paper craft at least once:)    I do a lot of my paper crafting in a little cramped spot in my room, because my hubby has Primary Progressive MS and spends a lot of time in bed,so in order to be around him, that is where my creativity takes off:))  Below I am sharing a few of my favorite projects...hope you like.

getting Christmas ready

Good morning all, how is everyone doing?  I have been so busy. I have had a lot of special orders, which I normally do this time of year.  A bove is a special order Close To My Heart advent calendar made with the Cubby which is on the retiring list, so if you would like to make your own you will have to go shopping on my website, and get one.

And then I made a few cards.. 

I am going to mis the holiday seasons, making Christmas cards I thin k is my favorite type of card.

I hope you enjoyed my projects as much as I enjoyed making them.

Good evening everyone.

TGIF...what a long week.  I had no car this week and the time went slowly.  Usually I play taxi and run around alot.  but not this week.  I did not get any extra crafting in though like I hoped.  I did get some.  Christmas and December are right around the corner and I am just not ready.  I have about 20 more chipboard mini calendar fridge magnets to make.  Some i hope to sell to get some extra Christmas money and the rest I will have as gifts.

Get your Sparkle and Shine!!

Good morning everyone.  I can not believe I am posting in ther morning!!!  I usually post in the evening.lol  Well I have been real busy lately, making cards, calendars, snowmen and  Candy bar wrappers for the holidays.  I wanted to just pop in and make a quick post of a couple things i worked on Yesterday.  I am loving working with the Close to My Heart SPARKLE AND SHINE papers...

I had not embossed with powders in a long time, when I got the Mary and Babe stamp set from CTMH, I knew this was a set that I needed to emboss with..love how it tuned out.

then On a cutsey note....

and then I have one set of Promarkers and I wanted to try my hand at coloring this cute little Unity stamp I got from my Awesome sister..

Now I just have to finish him off by coloring the Christmas balls, then i can add him to a card:0)
