Jen's Digi Stamps Challenge

Hello to all my fellow crafters out there,  Today is the"LOVE"  Challenge at Jen's Digi Stamps. There was such a cute selection of digis to choose from, it was hard to pick, but I think my choice was a fun one.  Look at the cute lil' bug with all the hearts all over him!  He is aptly named...LOVE BUG.

I made an 8 and 1/2 by 5 and 1/2 card with papers in the Recollections Valentines Day pack.  The Recollections pack from Michaels' is  a fun set,  I won the pack for a fellow crafter, Miranda Enclade.  I love it.

I also used a stamp set from Inkadinkado's Love set, to male the love tickets.  Christmas Red and Cotton pink are the Close To My Heart ink pads I used...added a little bling too on the side and bottom in the form of Rhinestones.
To color the digi I used the yellow set of Spectrum Noir markers, Christmas red CTMH marker and the pastel set of Pro Markers.

I added a little red ribbon, and there you have it, a cute card to share with someone to show you love them.
If you would love to get in on the Love Challenge, you will have 2 weeks to link up your project.  Head over to Jen's Digi Stamps blog and check out the other girls projects, give them some love and see waht you have to do to submit a card in the challenge..\

Have a great day and please come back:)))

Jessica's (KinderStampO) Secret B-Day Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Jessica's (KinderStampO)  Secret B-Day Blog Hop. This was a surprise, I hope it is a good one.  Happy Birthday Jessica!!!  I hope your day is as special as you are.  I love being a Guest designer on your team, you are awesome.
Below is the sketch for our projects.

Soooo, I made a Birthday card using this sketch and also used products from The KinderStampO shop.  First of all you shaold have arrived here from Limors' blog, if not, please start at the beginning, here there are tons of fabulous projects and you don't want to miss a single one! I will post the blog list below so you do not get lost.

For my card I used Paper from the DCWV Fresh Floral Stack.  I love that stack, it has such soft colors and beautiful flower prints/  The card stock is Michaels recollections paper. I cut the daisy flower from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 3" and then ran it through my Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing machine, sorry I do not know the name of the folder, it has writing, that is all I know. I then inked the edges with CTMH Cottan Candy.  I also Stamped the sentiment from the CTMH  Celebrations stamp set with their New England Ivy ink pad.  I then added a button to the center of the flower and a organza pink butterfly.  The rest of the embellishing came from KinderStampO's store

Products used from KinderStampO store:

I also used some yellow lace ribbon from KinderStampO, no picture available/
Make sure you take a browse through the KniderStampO store and get some goodies for yourself Here
Below is the first card I made, I had a blonde / senior moment and made the card without using any  KinderStampO products...can you believe it?? Lol.

There will be a $25.00 gift card for one lucky winner to the KinderStampO store, and in order to be eligible, you must stop at all the blogs on the hop, including KinderStampO and leave some bloggy Love!  thats it:0)  Happy Hopping:)

Hope you are having a good time....come back again,

True Love Tear Bear/ birthday

Happy Inauguration/ Martin Luther King Day/  I hope your weekend was a good one.  Mine was, I was able to do a little paper crafting.  Have not been able to do very much, my husband had to have emergency surgery last week and the hospital was 2 hours away, so a lot of traveling and stress.  But now he is home and recuperating and I can settle back in to creating.  Yay.

I did not have much battery left in the camera, so I just took a single picture of a couple cards I made:
The first card I made the face and hand of a Tear Bear. I got the pattern and Mulberry paper at the Beary Scrap. I used a lg retro flower punch and embossing folders for the flowers,  There are brads for the flower centers.  I  made the flower pot myself, and put a lizard that I got from the programmed, Cricut Alphabet cartridge ad the leaves and stem is from Artiste.  Papers from  loose papers in my stash and Recollections cardstock.  The bear is holding a little heart that reads true love.

The second card is made with the Elmo's Party Cartridge. I cut the cupcake out pieced it together and added Stickles on the cupcake liner.  For the balloons, i used a 1 and 3/4 paper punch, cut several colors, inked them and then punched some smaller circles for the eyes,  I then attached twine to t.he balloons and tied them with a bow.  The stamp is from  My Craft Spot's  Tiny Tags 2.

I hope you like todays cards, I certainly had fun making them....Cathy

I will be entering  my True love card in the:
Flower Challenge at Little Scrap Pieces Here

Anything Goes Blog Hop

Welcome to the Anything Goes Blog Hop!! We are pleased to have you here. We hope you enjoy seeing all the fabulous projects on each blog in this hop. We are giving you 2 days to hop. We all know how busy lives can be:) Shelley the host of this hop has a great blog candy package for 1 lucky winner! All you have to do is comment and be a follower on each blog in this little hop! You should have started at Shelley's blog. If you didn't please go to the beginning. We don't want you to miss a single great project in this line up. Right now you are here from Sarah W and your next stop should be Shelley T. blog. I will provide the full line up at the end of this post in case you have gotten lost along the way. Shelley ships to the US only.

Here is what I made for a project today....the funny thing is, I had a card all made for this hop, and then I saw this cut on the Artiste cartridge, and I had to try it.lol

I picked up a paper pak of 12x12 papers from K&Co.   The papers are gorgeous.  The pad is called Sweet Nectar.

The mail box was cut from the Artiste cartridge at 3 Inches and scored and glued together.  I used Bazzil paper to make the flag and border, and embellished with yellow string beads and lace.  On the top I added some mulberry roses. and stamped "A warm hello" on the flag.

The flowers were all cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge with the exception of the blue rose which I used a punch.. retro flower lg. and layered it and rolled it and used the Gilmore flower maker tools to shape it and glue gun to hold together.  I used Tim Holtz distress pads to ink edges of the flowers with Pickled Raspberries ink.

On the mailbox door, along with the assorted flowers, there is a mini envelope I made and inked, laying under the flowers, not sure if you can see it.  I really had fun making this, now what to do with it.lol

Here is the blog candy picture below....Yummy huh?? Well you will want to visit and comment on each blog as well as become a follower of each to be eligible to win!!! Easy peasey :)
