My Favorite peep...

Good evening everyone, today I had a craft day..I did not have any grandchildren to babysit so I headed to my craft desk..I wanted to make Easter cards for the grnad children and my boys.  Above is one I made and I had fun with it, I cut the egg from Art Philosophy and the chicken from Create a Critter.  The tree branch was from Artbooking.

Other supplies used were flowers and half pearls from my stash, Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and Martha Stewart punch..branches.  The paper is from DCWV.  I am entereing the card in the challenges listed below

Spring is in the air /RRR 92

 Is it summer yet???  you would think so when I went to the school to pick up my grand daughter, both sides of the road all you could see was 2 feet of snow in everyones yards, and there were kids walking home in short sleeve and sleeveless shirts..we are tough here in Maine. it was 4o degrees and it felt great..

I did not stay out to enjoy it though, I wanted to stay inside and play with paper.  I made 2 cards, because of cards I so on Pinterest..Flower pot cards as seen below..

after I made the flower pots I saw that Really Reasonable ribbon was having a challenge  "Flowers or Buttons and Bows".. So I decided to color one of the images I had from Paper Nest Dolls.."Bubblegum Emma"

Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend.  I did, I had a Close to My Heart gathering with a group of wonderful ladies, we had a lot of fun!!

The sun came out a little bit and melted some more snow and that was a good thing.  But this is the time of year of dirty snow and MUD...be glad when that is done.

Any who, here is the card I made for this weeks sketch challenge...

I used the new Skylark paper,, I love it, such pretty paper, love the color combo as well as the bird images, although the pieces I used for today's card do not have any birds on them.

Cuttin' & Stampin's 14-13 Quillt week Challenge!

Good morning everyone, are you ready for another challenge?  This weeks challenge has to do with quilts..soo fun.  For the  quilt challenge, I decided to make a pattern I saw on the internet, I am not  quilter so I had to browse around for a pattern.  It involved cutting a bunch of 0ne inch pieces of paper and following a certain pattern.. here is what I came up with...

For this weeks project we are using Studio Calico's Lemon Lush paper pad and embellishments.. what a fun, bright, Springtime paper pack!  Below are the product I used in my card today.
