Creamsicle bear

Hello KaDoodle Bug fans.  How you all doing this fine morning?? Today it is my turn to post for KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I chose a fun  svg file from KaDoodle Bug Designs' Cutie KaToodles files.

Today I made a treat bag that I cut from my Cricut expression with the CTMH Cricut artiste cartridge,  The bag was cut at 4 and one half inches.  I used Close To My Heart card stock and American Crafts twine.  The AWESOME file I used was the Cutie KaToodles file Creamsicle Bear.

I have to apologize for the lack of editing of the picture..was having computer troubles, hope to have this cleared up by my next post.   I hope you like this project, and it inspires you to grab a KaDoodle  Bug Designs file and share with us on the fan page.

 For this weeks challenge, I had a wedding card to make for a customer. and she wanted Purple in it..so I grabbed my scrap box..which just keeps getting bigger and bigger...and found some purple papers.

I even had some scrap ribbon  (Really Reasonable Ribbon) ..just enough to make the double bow!!!  I used an embossong folder and some greenery from a bouguet of fake flowers I had..

the challenge is to use Stampin Ups' colors.. tempting turqouis, real red and  Crumb cake.. I do not own them because I am  a Close To My Heart Consultant and have their colors..Lagoon and ruby, and cashmere are the colors I used. they are very similar.  I really liked the image and colored another one, not the challenge colors. but had fun and liked it so I thought I would share

A little inking

Hello crafters. how was your weekend?  Mine was awesome, my husband and I celebrated 35 years of being married on Sunday..35..unbelievable!!  Time sure does fly.  We shared a lot of wonderful years together. Hoping to have many many more.

This evening I took a little down time and caught up on some orders and projects that I had due.  One of the things I wanted to do also was to check out some of the projects I had pinned on Pinterest that I wanted to try.  I do a lot of my cards with die cuts and svg files, but I wanted to try some simple inking cards, and that is just what I did.

I used black white and autumn terrecotta for card stock, inked the top piece of white cardstock with autumn terrecotta and black and whisper. used retired CTMH stamp set D1375 Treasures and also D1584 Big Hug.

HIMCR #209 - Any Holiday! (July 25th)

Hiding In My Craft Rooms' Challenge 209~ Any Holiday

Happy Saturday everyone and welcome to HIMCR Challenge.

this weeks challenge is any Holiday and this week I am doing Christmas..(Christmas in July).  I cholse to of the spiced Sunshines digital images that were for Christmas.

First..

I chose this adorable animated little holiday cup.  I colored hom with Crayola colored pencils and added some multi colored dots of ink from my Spectrum Nooir markers..LG1, LG2, LG3 AND 

LG 5  .I added some lace paper ribbon and used Close to My Heart lagoon cardstock.  I found some stickers and one said Noel so added that at the top and voila finished card...then I made another one..

I thought this little owl was a cutie..I again used Crayola colored pencils.  I decided to dig through my box of scraps which has been growing... and growing and found the papers to use.  the stamp os Close to My Heart and bling from my box of scraps,..imagine that I even have scraps of bling.lol   Anywho, i finished it off with some ribbon, made a double bow, and button.  I hope you like my post, and are inspired to link up a project for the challenge.  make sure you check out the other Design team members creations.
