Welcome everyone to KinderStampO's Theme Spired Saturday!! Today is my turn to post as a Guest Designer for KinderStampO. I love being on the team, even if it is as a Guest Designer, there is such a great variety of talent to be had on this team and the girls are all wonderful!!
For today's theme Sunshine after the Rain, I have made a card for you.
When I think of sunshine after the rain, It makes me think of someone going through a difficult time and they need a little encouragement that the su will come out and things will get better, I think we all have times like that, So I figured we needed a card with pretty colors and some flowers:
So I used the DCWV Fresh Floral Stack and some Recollections card stock for paper.
I set the card up with t mats...one with the clouds and umbrella, which has small droplets on it, not sure if it is acrylic or not, I got them in a clearance bin at discount store nearby, they are meant to look like rain drops. On the center mat, I placed the sentiment. which comes from a stamp set from Inkadinkado. I used the cartridge, 3 Birds on Parade to cut the water fountain, and The Alphabet cartridhe that comes with the Cricut E2 to cut the umbrella.
Of course I love the roses in KinderStampO's store, they are so pretty!!! I used the white and yellow ones here with a small bow , and a couple leaves fro Art Philosophy cartridge. Below is a list of items from KinderStampO's store that were used. :
I took a picture up close so you could maybe see the drops on the umbrella.
I hope you enjoyed the card I made for you today, and i hope I inspired you to create today something to encourage someone. Please head over to KinderStampO's blog today and make sure you check out the goodies she in hewr shop, you will love the lace and the flowers for sure. Just head
