Happy National Scrapbooking day

Hello crafters, long time no see.  I have been MIA for quite some time, but here I am..I am back.  Today I am popping in to share a scrap page I made.  I do not do a lot of scrap pages, because my true love is cards..  But here ya go.. It has lots of die cuts and a few punches, and I used inks on some of the pieces,  The finished page is 12 by 12 inches.  I created it for my grand son Julian..  hope you like.

Thanks for looking,
Cathy

Another Whimsy card

Happy Monday crafters.  Today I am here to share another card made using a Whimsy stamp set..Gnomes Think Spring.  Yesterday I shared a card to show the versatility of the stamp set.  Summer, Spring, Fall, or Winter, you can use this set

I used the same dies from a Stampin' Up tree dies.  I also used Stampin' Up  Balmy Blue inks, card stock and Stampin Blends alcohol markers.  To make the clouds, I used a Stampin Up blender brush, ink and a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things.

The hills were made with a curvy die that came in the Stampin' Up Tree die set and to give it shimmer I ran a line of Art Glitter Glue and then sprinkled SU fine glitter over the glue and let it dry.

I really love making cards with gnome stamps..and the joy of coloring makes it even better.
I hope you enjoyed my post and will leave some crafty love.

Whimsy gnome stamp cards

Hello crafters, it has been a while since I posted.  Let's just say. life and covid got in the way.  but I am here today because I wanted to share a couple of cards I created using the Whimsy stamp Gnome Think Spring.

What I love about this stamp is that you can make spring or winter cards with it.  And I am sure you could do Fall.  I will have to try that next.

Card #1 I used some Stampin Up!products such as dies to cut out the trees and for the card stock and sentiment.  I also used a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things, and for the inks, I used Stampin Up dye inks and Stampin' Blends alcohol markers to color the gnome.   The only other company I used was FSJ Glaze to give the butterfly his glossy shine.

I love how it turned out....  Tune in tomorrow for card #2 where I will share how I made a winter card.
Have a safe labor day weekend
Happy Crafting..

Ready for Springtime flowers

Hello fellow paper crafters and card makers I am writing to you from a rainy day in Maine.  Since it is so dreary out today I thought I would pop in and share a card with you.  I have not blogged in a while as you all probably noticed.  But my crafting has not stopped.  I still love card making and have also started making gnomes.  I find it relaxing and rewarding.

The card above was made using Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp and die combo, and Altenew inks. I love the layered floral stamps..

Here are some of the gnomes I have made recently...

But my true love is card making, but the gnomes makes some moola to add goodies to my card making stash..win win.

I also make gnome cards...

So now you know what I have been up to.  Hope to be back real soon .

Happy Crafting... Cathy
