Tea Together and Grandma's House

Hello crafters.  What is on your crafty desk today??  I am popping in today to share what was on mine.

In the brand new Stampin' UP Annual catalog is this adorable stamp set dedicated to Grandma's.  I think that is just adorable!!  So I decided to make  a card for a new grandma.   I used Gorgeous Grape card stock # 146987, Highland Heather # 146986 and Whisper White # 100730 to create this card as well as the  Brights 6x6 DSP Gorgeous grape pattern paper. # 149613.

I started by making a 4 and 1/4 by 5 and 1/2 base card and matted with the Designer Series paper cut at 4 by 5 and 1/4.

I then cut the smaller mats for the card as well.

I then took the Tea Together stamp set and heat embossed the tea pot and flower on to vellum paper with white embossing powder..

before I glued the tea pot and flower on, I inked the back of them with 

Highland heather ink pad # 147103

after gluing on, I had to pick out a sentiment..they are all super cute, don't you think??

I picked out the Rectangle Shapes Stitched dies # 148551 for the matting for the sentiment.. love the stitching,

then VOILA!!  Grandma's card ...love it!

Look Who's Hatched!

Hello crafters...how are you all doing??  I am popping on today to share a fun card with you using the Dino Days Bundle from Stampin' Up item # 151139.  

Below is the base of the card,  It is 5 and 1/2 by 11 and I scored it at 2 and 2/4 and at 5 and 1/2.

I then folded it as seen below, like as if I was going to do an easel card. but without the usual large mat.

So then I used 3 different color card stock..

the last thing I did before I finished the assembly was to die cut some layered circles with the layering Circles die set # 141705

Saturday morning Pocket cards

Good Morning crafters!!!  I hope you are all doing fine on this Father's Day weekend.  I Have been busy putting together a couple of quick cards, called Pocket Cards

Above is a photo showing why they are called pocket cards...there is  a pocket in the design to hold a mat for stamping as well as writing your personal note. 

To create your own, you will need a piece of Designer series paper, I used a piece from the Garden Lane DSP collection # 149488 and cut it at 4 by 10 and 1/2, then scored it at 5 and 1/4 and 9 and 1/4.

You will then need a mat at 4 and 1/4 by 5 and 1/2 for your base... and then another colored card stock mat at 3 and 3/4 by 5 and a whisper white mat cut at 3 and 1/2 by 4 and 3/4.

Take your DSP and fold on score lines....

 I then used a 6 inch piece of the NEW Scalloped ribbon in the Pretty Peacock #149751

 Taped the end to the back of the pattern paper to hold in place, and then I added tear and tape #138995

Peel of the tear and tape backing and place the DSP onto the 4 and 1/4 by 5 and 1/2 inch mat..

then I used the Story label #150076 and some dimensionals to place on card and stamped an oval punched (SU retired punch)piece of whisper white cs and stamped " thinking of you" sentiment from the Retired By the Bay stamp set.

I used the NEW color ink pad... Pretty Peacock # 150083

Below it the punch used..retired...

And Voila!!! finished card.

Stampin' UP 2019/2020 product share

Hello crafty friends, Today I want to share with you the details of the Stampin' Up 2019~2020 Annual catalog product share that I will be doing this year. I am going to have a few options for you.  But first, the details...

the reservations are starting now and I will accept payment via Paypal, and if you are local, cash or check.  All payments will be due no later than June 3rd.  I will place the order for product June 4th which is when the new catalog goes LIVE.  An estimated mailing date for shares will be from the 19th to the 23rd. as long as there are no back orders from Stampin' Up.

There is quite a process in doing the product shares...Collect the reservations~send invoices via paypal~collect payments~place orders~receive shipped orders~cut and sort the product~repackage to be mailed to you. The whole process takes approximately 2weeks after I place the order with Stampin' Up.

Fancy fold cards

Good evening stampers and paper crafters.  I put together a couple cards today after seeing a request from a fellow crafter if anyone knew the name of the card in the picture she shared and how to make...Well, I do not know the name of the card, but I took a stab at creating one (or two), and have the measurements for you.  

First ..here are the photos..

This  card below is the first attempt at the card earlier in the day..

Now for the instructions.. 

one sheet of base card stock, color of your choice 8 and 1/2 by 11.   Cut in half the long way so you have a 4 and 1/4 by 11 piece of card stock.  Then cut the piece in half so you have 2 pieces of 4 and 1/4 by 5 and 1/2 pieces of card stock, ~~those are your 2 end pieces.Cut 2 pieces of Designer series pattern paper to mat these 2 pieces at 4 by 5 and 1/4.

Now take the remaining piece of colored cardstock (the 4 and 1/4 by 11 ) and trim that so you have a 4 by 11 inch piece, and score that at 3" and 5 and 1/2" and 8 inches, and then mountain valley fold it.

 Then for the 2 end pieces that you just scored,  you can leave it as is and just punch a half circl off the top so you can put a gift card or a couple tags in, or you can do as I did and mark a small tick mark at 2 inches from top and then using a paper trimmer cut from the tick mark up to the score line at an angle. (on both ends)  Then for mats, you would cut them 1/8 or one inch smaller depending on what your preference is. I prefer 1/4 inch.

besides decorating and embellishing, you would then turn the accordian over and on the back side, you add tear and tape (or scor tape or liquid adhesive) to the bottom and sides to hold on to the outer 4 nd 1/4 by 5 inch mats.  If you have any questions, I did a live tutorial which you can rewatch on my Facebook page,  in the link below.  All the supplies used are Stampin Up products.  I am a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and would love for you to check out my website, Here

I also saw these instructions on Facebook, and thought I would share these as well

Cardstock Whisper White: 5-1/2 x 11 scored at 2-3/4, 5-1/2 & 8-1/4 fold on score lines but the two outside flaps fold in and the middle is folded mountain style.
Mark each outside flap 2” down put a pencil mark. From the pencil mark to the first scored line cut at an angle do same for other side.
Back panels: Cut 2 pieces White Cardstock 5-1/2 x 4-1/2
Cut 2 pieces Cardstock (your choice) 5-1/4 x 4-1/4
Cut 2 pieces DSP 5 x 4 layer. Adhere pieces
Cut the Cardstock for inside accordian panel:
4 pieces: 2-3/4 x 5-1/4
Cut at an angle
Cut 4 pieces DSP: 2-1/4 x 5 cut an angle
Layer Cardstock & DSP adhere to base
Attach back panels 1” in on first & last flap
