Forever friends

Hello crafters, I wanted to pop in today to share a card I put together this morning, I used a retired Stampin UP set called  "First Sight".  I played with watercoloraper, oh what fun.
First I took a 3 and 3/4  by 5 inch piece of watercolor paper and an acrylic block.  On the block I took a Berry Burst SU ink pad and ran it across the top of the block to lay down some ink.  I then took a water brush and squeezed out some water onto the ink and then stirred the water into the ink to dilute it. Step 2 was to heat emboss the flourish stamp on to the watercolor paper using Versmark and SU white embossing powder.  Step 3 ..I used the water brush and picked up the diluted ink from the block and spread it over 3/4 of the watercolor paper.

I used my heat gun to speed up the drying process, and then stamped some birds in the flourish with Momento black ink.  For the sentiment, I used versamark and SU Black embossing powder. After this part was done I took the waterbrush, cleaned of the brush part and then put a f  ew drops of water on the card sporadically and blotted dry with paper towel.  My next steps to finish off the card was to add some black twine and some clear rhinestones, matted it with black cardstock and with Stampin Up Berry Burst cardstock, I cut a 4 and 1/4 by 11 piece and scored at 5 and 1/2.  Voila...card completed.

I hope you enjoyed today post and will comment on your way out :)
Happy Craftin...Cathy
