Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 80

Heelo fellow crafters and thanks for checking in, today I am posting for AHSC for the challenge 80.  When I looked at it, i was thinking the outer edge of the card is embossed possibly, so that is what I did.....

I used this dark burgundy paper I found in my stash for a dramatic effect, and then I found some papers from CTMH..Colonial white, Huntington and Olive. The ribbon was a loose piece I had in my ribbon bag and went perfectly with the fall theme,  I also used 2 stamp sets from CTMH.....

I used Saddle for the ink as well as Olive.
for a finishing touch I added mini green rhinestones.  I hope you like what I came up with, I was pleased,  Now it is your turn to give it a try:)   Head here and post your project and check out what the other DT members have to share.

You can also take a look at my website..there are plenty of new products to help you create and craft...

Happy Crafting!!

Atlanic Hearts Sketch Challenge #66

Atlantic Hearts
Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone, have you missed me?  I have been on the computer very little latley,  I have had a lot going on in the family, and family comes first.  My husband was not well and we had a death in the family, then it was my turn to be sick. Well any who, I am back.  I hope to start posting more often, I really want to get my Close To My Heart business off the ground, generate more interest... In the meanwhile...this is a challenge week, and I have to tell you I really enjoyed, making this card, it was fairly easy to put together, the sketch is simple and sweet, and I love the colors.  Win win situation..........

I used Artiste cartridge for the flowers, cutting them at 2 1/2", and 2' and 1 1/2 inches. I then curled up each petal to give it some dimention.  I used the Sky Blue paper and ink (which will be retiring at the end of this month, so hurry if you want to get it) from Close To My Heart.

I also used the stamp set "The happy Couple" (D1539)  for the sentiment.  The paper pack is "Ariana" X7179c, which too is retiring July 31st. BUT... Wait til you see all the WONDERFUL stuff in the NEW Close To My Heart Catalog.  Lets just say My cricut is gonna be hummin :)

I hope you like my project for today and I would love for you to take part in this challenge as well as check out the other Design Team ladies and give them some love.  Here is the link.

Thanks for stopping by and plsease come back again

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #62

This weeks sketch challenge can be interpreted many ways, I think.  and what I decided to do was make a 6x6 card, mat it twice and then cut out a square from the Art Philosophy cartridge that had the edges snipped, and using an ink sponge I added CTMH gypsy ink smeared as the background and then stamp wth black ink.

I purchased the stamp set above from another consultant, it is retired, but I love it .  I then matted a  sentiment and faux stitched the edges.  Oh and the fianl touch is the bling. :)
Hope you like and that you will give the challenge a go.  Make sure to check out the other Design team members projects, enter the challenge here.

Have a great day!!!

Atlanti Hearts Sketch Challenge
50

Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend.  I did, I had a Close to My Heart gathering with a group of wonderful ladies, we had a lot of fun!!
The sun came out a little bit and melted some more snow and that was a good thing.  But this is the time of year of dirty snow and MUD...be glad when that is done.
Any who, here is the card I made for this weeks sketch challenge...

I used the new Skylark paper,, I love it, such pretty paper, love the color combo as well as the bird images, although the pieces I used for today's card do not have any birds on them.

I used skylark paper pack (X7177B)
CTMH zipper lace
mini medley accent Olive (z1489)
Skylark assortment (Z3000)
paper trimmer and adhesive

Hope you like how it turned out and will give the sketch a try and link it up here...Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Blog

Good morning and welcome to  the Atlantic Hearts Sketch
Challeng #46.  For today's sketch I decided to use the papers from the "Pro Player" Paper packet.  I do not have any Birthday cards for a young man, so I took advantage of this time to do one.  The card is 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, and all materials used are CTMH..

suppies...Artiste cartridge, ProPlayer papers, Square studs,

I put a few arrows on the inside of the card, and on the envelope too to dress them up.  Was a fun easy card to make, helps when you have great product to work with ;)
